The wedding will take place in the evening of Saturday September 21st, 2024 in the backyard of 807 Loma Linda in West Lake Hills which is 12 minutes West of Downtown Austin Texas. There are many Hotels close by and Austin numerous AirBNB homes. Any hotel in Downtown Austin is also a good choice.

We will be taking photos at golden hour so please arrive after 6:15pm, the ceremony will being promptly at 6:45pm.

PARKING

The home is in the hills and like the canyons in L.A. there is very little parking and what is available is hard to use. For this reason we ask you to please use a ride share. They are plentiful in Austin and also West Lake Hills writes the most DWI tickets of any city in the region.

ARRIVAL
807 Loma Linda is next to 807 Terrace Mountain. (we know, crazy) Look for the signs and decorations for drop off. There will be a catering truck in our drive way and we are a single story home.

From drop off go to the left side of the house and enter the gate to the backyard. From there find a seat or gather at a cocktail table for the ceremony.

Please dress fashionably in Backyard Cocktail attire avoiding black or white. Our wedding colors are Pink and Green. When in doubt go a little more formal. If still in doubt... add something that sparkles!

The backyard is luscious grass that can be uneven and the ground is soft. Consider this with your footwear as the grass will swallow up pointy heels.

The dancing will be on a dance floor.

WEATHER
Austin in September can be a pleasant 80 degrees a hot 90 degrees or a cool 70 degrees. Or all three. Check the weather 5 days before and plan accordingly. We have chosen the evening after the sun has set as even in a hot September the evenings are pleasant once the sun goes down. Expect humidity.

We will hold the wedding rain or shine. If there is rain we will be in tents.

We will start with a short ceremony officiated by our amazing friend Chad Einbinder after which we will have cocktails and passed appetizers, a seated dinner and dancing!

The ceremony will start after the sun has passed behind the western trees and about an hour before dark. Sunscreen would not be required.

The wedding is for guests 21 and up.

We have our love! What else do we need?

Record a 1 minute or less toast on your mobile phone, in portrait mode from about 4 feet away with a clean background and quiet room. Send the video to us by text or email by September 1st.

We will edit these into a short video shown at the reception. We would love for you to do this but also want you to feel no pressure to do this if don't want to be on camera. You can tell us in person!
